PRE-PAID BROADBAND SERVICE

AFM attendees who want wireless access while in Santa Monica can contact T-Mobile to purchase a laptop stick for $59.99 – no activation fee, no commitment.

The stick works on laptops, computers, and any other device with a USB port. Choose either 1GB for $30 or 3GB for $50 (good for 30 days upon activation, which will be done on Monday, 29 October).

PARKING

Valet parking is expensive and extremely limited at the Loews and Le Merigot Hotels. The AFM encourages attendees to utilize the public parking options available throughout the city. There are over 6,200 parking spaces near the AFM.

AFM Shuttle: Complimentary shuttle service is available from the Civic Center Parking Structure and Lot 4 South to the Loews and Le Merigot hotels from 7:00am to 10:00pm beginning Tuesday, October 30.

AFM Parking Permit: Special AFM parking permits have been arranged with the City of Santa Monica to provide the convenience of parking with in/out privileges. The cost of each permit is US$125. Permits are valid from Monday, October 29 through Wednesday, November 7. To order a Parking Permit online, click here or download the Parking Permit Application.

The AFM Permit is accepted at the following TWO locations:

1. Civic Center Parking Structure - 333 Civic Center Drive, enter at Civic Center Drive and 4th Street (open 8am-1am)
2. Lot 4 South - 2030 Ocean Ave
   (Public parking is 8am-5pm however, a special AFM parking card (separate from the permit) will be provided with your badge at registration to waive this restriction and allow for parking after dark).

This permit will not be accepted at any other location. No overnight parking is permitted in any public lot.
